01
Marine Mammals
Marine mammals are an awe-inspiring component to marine ecosystems. Historic and current fishing methods have caused serious damage to many of these populations. Collecting data on marine mammals is vital in understanding their populations and ensuring appropriate conservation is carried out on a local and global scale.
02
Sharks and Rays
Sharks and rays are often the apex predators of ecosystems and play an important role in maintaining the natural balance. Locating breeding grounds and understanding their reproduction is a key part of maintaining the health of their populations.

03
Seagrass
Seagrass is beginning to gain more recognition on a global scale. With the ability to soak up CO2, stabilise sediments and provide shelter for juvenile commercial fish species, policy makers are looking for more data on this marine plant to maximise the health of seagrass meadows.
