The Shore Academy
The Ocean Axis Shore Academy is currently based exclusively in Devon and Cornwall. We promote ocean literacy, citizen science, blue therapy and personal development. Ran by our experienced session leaders who are fully DBS checked and First Aid trained.
Tailored to individuals
Our Shore Academy is aimed at inspiring young people to learn more about the natural world and channel their learning through what they are passionate about. Our focus on individuals means we currently have a maximum of 10 participants per group who must be aged 10+ unless accompanied by an adult.
Half day sessions
all ages, 10:00 - 14:00
Our half-day sessions cover citizen science, personal development and blue therapy, with plenty of additional resources for young people to engage with. Each participant gets a log book for the activities they've completed and what they have learnt.
Blended Learning curriculumn
Age 10+
Our blended learning curriculumns are for students who want additional hours of study, summer education, or children who are home educated. Our learning programmes can be entirely in person, or a mixture of both online and in person, depending on the amount of hours desired.
