About the event

This session is aimed at young people aged 11 - 18 who want to learn more about marine life and systems. It will include presentations on the biology and physiology of different animals and how they work together to create healthy ocean ecosystems. Some days will involve putting this new knowledge into practical use, hunting for critters on the coastline and seeing their anatomy up close. On these days, we are able to provide snorkelling kit and rockpooling shoes depending on how much you want to dive in!

We run workshops on identifying shark and ray eggs as well as sessions focused on getting creative with conservation, repurposing, and upcycling marine debris and waste fishing gear.

Please bring a notebook and a packed lunch, or an allowance to buy one of the lunches available in the on-site cafe. Parents are welcome to stay or drop-off and pick-up.
